Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of data on the identity of the offender as an element of forensic characteristics of crimes related to human trafficking. The author tries to identify the main features of a criminal who commits a crime related to human trafficking. The primary attention is paid to the construction of his forensic portrait. It is established that due to the definition of the characteristic features of the criminal, it becomes possible to build forensic versions during the investigation to use specific tactics in carrying out procedural actions.
