THE PROBLEM OF DICTATION IN SENEGAL IN THE THIRD SECONDARY CLASS

Summary/Abstract: Assessment is essential in the teaching and learning process. In addition, it permits not only to level the perception degree of courses, the student’s comprehension but also the teaching methods. That is to say that assessment is part of the didactic triangle. Moreover, assessment can be a dictation hence the arm of this article which is an analysis of the evaluating method in Senegal of the one hand in the secondary school and on the other hand for candidates in BFEM. Indeed, the essential of our inquiry concerns mainly the problem to maintain the dictation particularly its impact on the results during the exam. In fact, taking account ideas of inquired person which consists in changing this manner of evaluation, we have proposed a few solutions to perfect it and to put in the teaching objective context of the country.
