Summary/Abstract: Public narratives are products that contain cultural elements belong into the people and have cost the public the continuity of public culture. Folk narratives, which are the transfer of folk culture to future generations, are a repertoire of culture. So much so that in the texts of myths, epics, fairytales, legends, stories and folk tales that we call the folk narrative, we can see sections from many elements of folk culture from birth to death. These elements, which form the basis of other folk narratives and fairytales, are called motifs, and fairytale motifs have a universal structure and can include elements of the geography in which they exist. One of these elements is folk medicine practices. In this study, folk medicine practice passed in 70 fairytale texts selected from the Field of Uzbekistan by Huseyin Baydemir (2004) were identified. Document analysis technique was used in this study where qualitative research method was adopted. In the study, the place of folk medicine in Uzbek Fairytales was evaluated with samples detected from texts.
