Summary/Abstract: In this study, the educational policies of the Republic period and the effects of foreign education scholars on education were examined. Since the first years of the Republic, important studies have been carried out on the regulation of the corrupt educational structure inherited from the Ottoman a new understanding. In this regard, the opinions of foreign education scholars were also used. The research is in the descriptive survey model and is based on document analysis. According to the research results; the reflections of the educational reforms made to change the educational structure inherited from the Ottoman on the education system is a topic that is still discussed and kept up to date.
