Consideration is also given to the doctrines that work on the development of the consumer insolvency law in Bulgaria. The key outcomes of the scientific research are: performance of a historical division into periods and the basic premise that the legal method rests on the approved doctrine for the debtor’s good faith and for cancellation of a debt in the presence of a return on the debts in favor of the creditors.
