Summary/Abstract: Strategic thinking unleashes the power of leaders on all levels to reach goals, overcome challenges and creatively change the situation from where it is to the desired end-state. All leaders have resources (time, talent, and capital) to varying degrees within their organizations. So, technically, all leaders are strategists. The reality, however, is that not all leaders are good strategists. A good leader can evolve in a good strategist by learning how to develop a strategic thinking mindset. Hence, the focus of the current article is on the main ingredients that contribute to the development of strategic thinking.
