Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the possible use of the synthetic opioid fentanyl and its derivatives as so-called non-lethal chemical weapons in military and non-military operations or terrorist acts. It contains information about the synthetic opioid fentanyl and its derivatives, the possibilities of identifying opiates of the fentanyl series, and the evaluation of the possibilities of using psychotropic drugs in the form of non-lethal chemical weapons.
