Summary/Abstract: This article presents the Polish translation of three sermons written by Richard from Saint Vic- tor. These sermons were taken from the tenth book of the second part of Richard’s Liber excep- tionum. The first sermon says that the church building is an image of the Church’s community; the second – that the church building is an image of the human soul; the third – that the holy city of Jerusalem is an image of the Church’s community. The translation was preceded by an introduction. The introduction talks about Ryszard’s life and work. Translated sermons are also shortly discussed there.
