Summary/Abstract: The article is based on the linguistic analysis of the language material with lexical semantic micro field “Winter” in the Vinnytsia region writers’ artistic prose. The purpose of the article is to analyze lexical semantic micro field “Winter”. The realization of this purpose involves the following tasks: to determine morphological and syntactic means of expression of the micro field “Winter”; to describe their structure, to characterize functions. // The paper found that the XXth century was special in creating of the point of view with using the means of language, artistic principles and rules. the cognitive semantics of the micro field is expressed by figurative meaning (metaphor, metonymy, synecdoche), as well as the use of words associated with the emergence of sensory sensations: auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, as well as words related to spatial orientation. // Within the micro field “Winter” there are two types of nominations: specific (names of winter months) and indefinite-temporal (indirectly called the winter period). The functional features that dominate in the use of certain linguistic means of expression of the microfield “Winter” are characterized.
