Summary/Abstract: Jan Souček (1899–1983) is a figure who has been almost forgotten today. A pedagogue, psychologist, sociologist and public awareness worker, he is the author of many works that are still as significant even today. This principled and courageous man faced many wrongdoings at the hands of the communists in the latter half of his life, but even that did not stop his creative work.
