Summary/Abstract: Modern companies are more and more oriented toward the integration of their business activities and in general toward more comprehensive and complete overview of its business processes. Nevertheless, without the support of contemporary software applications and information – communication technology such process is not possible to convey. In order to succeed in business, modern companies have to direct right information to the right departments of the company at the right moment. Therefore, it is necessary to digitalize processes in the organization to the utmost, to make the organization more “intelligent” and its human resources, to the greatest extent, workers of the knowledge. The application of business intelligence and the use of its modern tools are necessary to obtain an advantage over the competition and survive at the market.
