Summary/Abstract: Currently, the number of sites of memory in public space is increasing rapidly. Does this mean that we are dealing more intensively with the past today? Are we even ready to work with such a vast amount of information? Significant historical events are commemorated in various forms, and that is what the project Sites of Memory with Ethnic Motive in Public Space is about. The project is financed by the Fund for the Support of Culture of National Minorities (Kultminor), which ended a few months ago. The project focuses on the forms and visualisations of Roma sites of memory and their remembrance in public space. The aim of the project is to make Roma sites of memory visible, as well as to record unique stories of narrators.
