Summary/Abstract: After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the appeared power vacuum and the strategic importance of Central Asia led this region to an arena in which foreign powers competed. India and Pakistan, which are already current regional powers, emerged as a significant actors along with Russia, China, and the United States in Central Asia. As India and Pakistan need more energy due to their growing populations and economic developments, they have been involved in the energy games within the region. This study will focus on India and Pakistan’s energy policies in the context of their economic relations with Central Asian countries. In this framework, particularly India and Pakistan’s economic relations developed with Central Asian countries will be examined and cooperation opportunities will be reseached in terms of the TAPI project as well.
