The Primary Results of the last Hungarian Identity Survey in Slovakia

Summary/Abstract: The Department of Sociological and Demographic Research of the Forum Institute of Minority Research and the National Policy Research Institute in Budapest carried out a survey in 16 districts of southern Slovakia in a total of 120 settlements, as well as in Bratislava and Košice. The subject of the survey is the state of national identity and its development compared to its state in previous periods. The primary results presented below apply to the following areas: quality of life, current public life attitudes, national values, national identity, and language use.
