The photographers of Balkan Wars

Summary/Abstract: Although the first newspaper had appeared in Montenegro in 1871, photography was included some half of the century since its introduction in the press worldwide. The first photo reporters, Vaso Radulović from Montenegro and the foreigners who arrived as reporters, came to the scene only in the First World War. Some of the photographs have often been reproduced with poor descriptions, with incorrectly printed names of the authors and many other mistakes. Some of them have been comonly used in literature, becoming a sources of manipulation, as well as the means of critical warning.
