Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we aim to analyze the significant differences between the findings of forensic experts regarding the authenticity of the recordings that are the subject of the expertise, some experts finding the intervention on the recorded images and sounds, while other experts, on the contrary, find no interventions on the same recordings. At the same time, we observe different radical conclusions on the analysis of the same audio-video files that contain antagonistic opinions on the simultaneity of the acoustic events with the visual ones. We intend to analyze in this paper different opinions and methods used by experts which led to contrary conclusions in the expertise on the data resulting from the technical surveillance. It is extremely important to identify the differences between the methods used by experts and to present the reasons used by them to reach contrary conclusions, in the situation of expertise of the same audio-video recordings, for some technically modified, for others unaltered.
