Facing the Horror

Summary/Abstract: A mere shadow of death, horror is part of our condition, represents the dark side of humanity, its accursed share. But to face the horror, to lift the veil of our inner night remains a challenge. However, the enigma of death and the enigma of beauty are conjoined abysses, and it is indeed in the heart of darkness that our aspiration to beauty arises, which is as much a desire for freedom as it is a thirst for infinity, the hope of transforming our nothingness into infinity.
