Summary/Abstract: The battle for Sarajevo in the year 1878 was an unfair battle. The army of the enemy was much better equiped. The defenders had two cannens on each line, while the Austro-Hungarians had many more. One of the acts performed by the enemy army, which repeated itself during the Agression on Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1995, is: the carelesness ofthe enemy army, the slaughter of women and children, preagneat women and so on. There are many similarities between the battle for Sarajevo in 1878. and the Agression on Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1995, Austro-Hungaria too performed an agression and genecide on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo and Bosniaks, and while the Serb agressor destroyed Sarajevo, the Austrians would build Sarajevo for 40 years.
