Summary/Abstract: Our study investigates the context, practice and forms of production and artistic representation during the communist political regime, when the dominant visual discourse is closely related to the imposed policies of representation, which took the place of aesthetic poetics. The study will highlight the way in which art changes its message, but also the stake under the propagandistic discourse, in order to impose a new visual rhetoric, which contributes to the (de) formation of representation strategies.
