Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author reflects on the dynamics of oral‑historical research, which she completed during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in spring2020. In the months of the so‑called “first wave”, the author worked with narrators on authorizations of transcripts and of edited interviews intended for book publishing. The presented findings relate mainly to practical issues of applied ethics/professional ethics. The author focuses on the issue of trust and assesses the extent to which the circumstances of coronavirus pandemic have modified this inherently very fragile quality or dimension of oral-historical research.
