Indeed, it is the very array of instances of debunking of the myths of modernity and myriad facets of critique that he delves into with gusto. With Compagnon, locating the loci where modernity dissipates into the postmodern becomes programmatic. It is this very capillarity of the modern into the postmodern that he labels subversive ‘anti-modernism.’
