Public perception of holidays established by the Sejm and the Senate

Summary/Abstract: Parliament has established more than fifty cyclical holidays so far, and most of them have appeared in the calendar of official celebrations in the last two decades. The article discusses Poles' attitudes towards the indicated holidays and, based on existing research, determines which of them are considered the most important, how they are celebrated in practice and what emotions are associated with them.
