Summary/Abstract: The study starts from the assertion that diachrony and synchrony are two modern linguistic concepts, in opposition. The main objective is the argumentative approach of the diachronic perspective of terminology, as the interdisciplinary scientific field. The descriptive-linguistic and comparative method allowed us some conclusions, of which the need for a historical approach to the terms is the first sine qua non condition for the creation of databases and disambiguation in specialized communication.
