Summary/Abstract: A part of the Ottoman census defter of the sancak of Prizren from 1477 pertains to the military-administrative unit called zeamet, i.e. vilayet of the Vlachs of Vuk’s land, which consisted of a particular number of Vlach villages in the erstwhile territory of Vuk Branković. Known in historiography as organised clusters of the Vlachs in this territory in the 15th century are the Vlachs of Prizren, Vlachs of Peć, Vlachs of Priština, and Vlachs Proilovci, but not the Vlachs of Vuk’s land. This group covered 69 villages, entirely or partially inhabited by the Vlachs, and stretching across a wide area from the Pešter plateau, Podgor of Peć, Metohija, to the basin of the Lab river.
