Summary/Abstract: Family businesses have different characteristics from other businesses. It has some feature that makes family business different from other types of business regardless of where it is operated in world. Success comes with time in business family which creates network synthesize concept of family and business. Despite there has been negative situation because of the family relation, there is a very big and successful family businesses ongoing in Turkey. In this study, the family business of "Bıçakçı Hafız's Grandchildren", which produces fourth generation handcrafted knives in Sivas, has been examined. In addition, some examples of the special knives produced are given by explaining the process steps of knife making.
