Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the last period of the Polish-Soviet negotiations in Riga 1920-1921. The preliminary peace agreement had been concluded, but none of the parties was satisfied with it. Poland had to give up its federal plans, Soviet Russia lost large territories in the West of the country, Belarusians considered the division of their lands to be unfair. This resulted in an armed conflict between the Red Army and the Bułak-Bałachowicz Belarusian army, the Slutsk uprising against the Soviet power, and the requirement to send the Belarusian delegate to the Riga negotiations.
