Summary/Abstract: The present paper deals with two stories of the author Carmen Elisabeth Puchianu from a narratological point of view. The texts „Der Kopf – Eine Parkbegebenheit” and „Der Bär kommt – Eine Weihnachtsgeschichte” are analysed using mainly Gérard Genette’s narratological theory of perspective andfocalization. Furthermore Wolf Schmid’s approach to narrated worlds is taken into consideration in the analysis. Perspective and focalization determine the fictional spaces. In addition, the external, internal and variable focalization as well as the situated focus play a decisive role in the gliding between (un)reliable narration and (un) reliable events that shape and differentiate fictional worlds. The research aims at finding out how perspective and focalisation shape space in literary worlds that constitute themselves in the mentioned stories.
