Summary/Abstract: The article deals with issues related to stress and burnout at teacher’s work. This phenomenon inevitably accompanies every human being. The teaching profession is particularly exposed to stress, it belongs to the group of so-called social and assistance professions acting for the benefit of another person or a group of people. This work includes both psychosocial and physical burdens. The author presents the results of research on the level of perceived stress, identification of stress factors, the most common symptoms of stress, as well as the ways teachers cope with such situations and burnout.
