Summary/Abstract: The article presents a novel form of heading classes in speech therapy using fairy tales dedicated to preschool kids. The beginnings of therapeutical impact of books refer to antiquity. Later on, this form had been used in several hospitals, where doctors recommended reading to their patients in order to accelerate their physical and mental (spiritual) recovery process. The aim of this thesis is to prove, that grounding therapy on the usage of fairy tales - one of the primal parts of bibliotherapy, can become an inherent element of speech-language pathologist’s work. Created syllabus of SLP therapy assumes three key parts. The primal is SLP specialist, who has got particular features, predispositions and abilities that allow them to give classes in the best possible atmosphere, with usage of proper therapeutic texts. Second are the listeners, here - the group of 3-year-old kids. Third one - the therapeutic means - fairy tales, as well as fables and nursery rhymes adequate to the age, abilities and interests of pupils. In the syllabus the general aims had been established, which were realised in particular scenarios, whereas collected material can offer help as an example to give SLP classes with preschoolers and can be a starting point to subsequent scientific research on usage of fairy tales in SLP therapy.
