Environmental policy and environmental aspects as the basis for the concept of strategic environmental management in organizations registered under EM

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to describe the importance of environmental policy and environmental aspects in strategic environmental management organization and the analysis of environmental policies and environmental aspects included in environmental statements of organizations registered under EMAS. The essence of the research method which was used was the analysis of secondary sources, which were environmental statements, currently available on the Polish web site of the EMAS scheme. The study was complete; the environmental statements of all organizations currently registered under EMAS in Poland were analyzed.
