Financial Risk Management in the Local Government Unit – Selected Aspects

Summary/Abstract: We face the problem of risk management not only in companies but also in the activities of local government units. Despite some common features related to the occurrence and management of risk, we find some differences in all entities. The article shows differences in the approach to risk management. It presents selected aspects of risk management in a local government unit on the basis of the Capital City of Warsaw focusing mainly on the widely understood financial risk.
