Summary/Abstract: Anti-discrimination is an established right for persons under international, the EU and Polish law. However, there is a discussion of what beliefs mean, whether they relate only to religious issues or more broadly. Clarification of this issue is highly crucial because belief discrimination generates the risk of losing the right image by organizations and has serious legal consequences for its owners and other stakeholders. It was found that individuals have not a similar anti-discrimination right for reasons of beliefs as for a reason of religion. Research has included doctrine and law studies, and it allowed for a thorough analysis of the regulations regarding the prohibition of discrimination due to beliefs.
