Summary/Abstract: Special educational needs of a child with a hearing impairment require specialized organization of the activities of educational institution. The article focuses on activities undertaken by the kindergarten in terms of practical organizational guidelines regarding psychological and pedagogical support for a child with hearing impairment. The paper pays special attention to planning and implementing of a specialist diagnosis, organizing the activities of the headmaster, a team of teachers and specialists, implementing psycho-pedagogical support in the course of pedagogical innovation. Certain conclusions resulting from the psychological and pedagogical support provided, accompanied by research results summarize the study. The article contains practical guidelines for the implementation of psychological and pedagogical help for a child with hearing impairment in the kindergarten.
