Production Logistics: The Case of Sokołów Company

Summary/Abstract: The article presents aspects of production logistics based on a selected enterprise of the meat industry. The aim of the article was the analysis of the company’s production processes and identification of methods for improvement in some areas. The scheme of the logistics system, logistic processes in the production of sausages and indicators of the production process efficiency are presented. Production preparation processes, such as meat preparation, make the documentation of the process manual and very time-consuming. The article presents standard methods of process control with the use of the production map. The article is concluded with a summary.
