Summary/Abstract: Starting from the comparison between the meaning of the city in the book Istanbul from Turkish Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk and the importance of the city in the Kole Casule`swork, this study focuses on the discovery of the city as a central main character of a literary work. The detection of the city as character begins with the discovery of love for the city and through theoretical reference urbanofilija that helps to define the specific need of the author to write about their city. Then the study elaborates on the importance of Prilep in Kole Casule`s work and the detection of places that are exclusively immanent in Prilep. The discovery of places like magical items that will lead to the sighting of the city as a central character in a book of short stories, includes detection of specific events that led to these discoveries. The paper analyzes the places of Prilep in all stories in the collection and comparative and general. It defines the language of the city as the language of the place that complements the image of the city. The conclusion in itself proves what even the title suggests and the subject of this text.
