Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the ways in which Mixtec men from San Miguel El Grande, Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, who are residents of Tijuana, build and signify their masculinity by means of the the labor/work framed by sociocultural processes based on gender relations. Special emphasis was placed on the systems of social relations, power and symbolism visible through the gender order in social groups.
