Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is a method to show readers how is possible to define logistics services in the light of selected literature. The characteristics of logistics services in the theoretical aspect, their goals and types of services will be presented. The process of logistics services will be shown based on literature, where the 7W rule is described. The logistics services market is also discussed with its participants, with a clear indication of the TSL market and its participants.
