Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the triple way of reception of the International Theological Commission’s documents in the Polish theological academia: the documents are the subject of discussion at scientific symposia, are subjected to analysis in the exact academic texts, and finally discussed in popular science and pastoral articles. Reactions of theologians are presented towards the three documents that have appeared in the past several years: Christianity and the World Religions (1997), The Hope of Salvation for Infants Who Die without Being Baptised (2007), and Theology Today: Perspectives, Principles and Criteria (2012). A criterion for the selection of those documents was the mode of their reception which seems to be representative of the Polish theologians’ feedback to the statements of the International Theological Commission.
