Summary/Abstract: The conventional representation is an institution related to the fundamental principle of civil trial, namely the right to defense. This is a variety of judicial representation that has an optional character and concerns the part of the civil trial that has the capacity to exercise, but understands to lead the trial through a representative. When the party elects a lawyer as its conventional representative, it must conclude a legal aid contract, and the power of the attorney to represent the party is evidenced by a document called power of attorney in accordance with the special provisions of the laws on the organization and exercise of the lawyer’s profession.
