NINETY YEARS OF RESEARCH AND PROTECTION OF THE ARCHITECTURE OF BANJSKA (1928–2018)

Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to present the most important results of research on the architecture of the Banjska Monastery and works on its restoration and protection, as well as to highlight the extent of achieved knowledge on this monument. It also draws attention to the unpublished archival material in the collections of the Archives of Yugoslavia and in the legacy of Djurdje Bošković at the Institute of Archeology in Belgrade, which contains extensive technical and photographic documentation of the research and conservation-restoration works performed in Banjska.
