Summary/Abstract: When we observe the constant change that is happening both externally and internally, the questionon how best Africa can realize its unity and through which ideology remains to be a perennialquestion of our time. This article seeks to tackle aspects which seem obsolete, misunderstood, andneglected so as to bring forth arguments and possible solutions to varied perennial problems thatserve the purpose of the present context with burdening concerns for Africa’s integration. Anotherconcern unveiled in this paper is that which sets out to demonstrate the fact that, it will be erroneouson our part to remain constant in the views of pan Africanism such as by depending on the formerversion as defended by its peers of which changes are very essential. This paper aims adopts aholistic approach that will permit us embrace facts that must not only be based on the thoughts ofthe founders but which still serve the aspirations of the Africans in the 21st century. So, tacklingthe relevance of Nkrumah’s Pan-Africanism to correct aspects of life and society that do not suitits context today will constitute the crux of this article.
