Summary/Abstract: The chronicle was written during the battles from Rhine, in the summer 1793 and later in 1794; it was copied by many soldiers and, in this way, some of the copies arrived in Romanian Countries. This variant is pretty much alike Cronica versificată de pe Rin. They both describe the battles that took place in those years, the fights between the French army and the European coalition. According to the notes from the manuscript’ s pages, it was Demian Pupăză’ s property, from Telciu. He confesses - on one page - that he had copied it from George Veştemanu from Veştemu. We may see the manuscript today at Bruchenthal Museum Library.
