Summary/Abstract: A small part of the Croatian Adriatic Coast, from Rječina to Mandalina, was once called the Croatian Littoral. However, after Croatia's independence the term denotes the whole region of the Croatian Adriatic Coast from the Bay of Piran to Prevlaka. Due to this fact, confusion has arisen in the use of the term Croatian Littoral, confusion that has to be resolved. The author discusses basic starting points for resolving this problem.
