Summary/Abstract: After Croatia's independence the penal system terminology was restored in accordance with traditional legal terminology, after having undergone forceful enforcement of Serbian legal terminology. However, in this process of restoration to traditional terms some inadequacies are apparent. The author draws attention to these novelties in this paper.
