Summary/Abstract: This article concerns issues of the Counter-Reformative theatralisation of church rituals connected with the statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. The study considers three types of rituals: the tradition of dressing the sculpture in embroidered vestments of different colours, coronation processions, and pilgrimages. It also presents a brief history of the statue and its worship in the Baroque period.
