Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global health, economic and social crisis, which requires a review of the current model of society. Therefore, all projects aimed at post-pandemic recovery have the opportunity not only to alleviate the effects caused by the virus, but also to promote other relevant objectives for the future, such as environmental sustainability and ecological transition, both reflected in the European Green Deal. In this context, Financial and Tax Law plays a fundamental role through the application of the so-called “green taxes” or “green budgets”, instruments of special relevance in the policies adopted by the European Union.
