Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the question of legal regulation of protection against domestic violence in the Czech legal order. Attention is focused mainly on the civil protection of the victims of domestic violence, specifically then interim measure according to § 76b of Civil procedure code. It regulates the possibility of declaring person, against which the proposal is aimed, from a joint dwelling and other restrictions on violent person, whose objective is the protection of victims of domestic violence. With regard to the scope of this issue, the objective of this article is to submit a comprehensive look at this issue and to focus only on selected aspects resulting from one of the cases of detective Taggart or more precisely his successors.
