Summary/Abstract: The nine folk singers from the panoramic overview of Macedonian 19th century poetry Literary revival by Gane Todorovski witness the forgotten woman`s poetic writing. They confirm its citizenry, action, and undoubtedly the esthetic values of the tradition and continuity of the Macedonian literature. They win trough their own identity. Undoubtly, Depa (Despina) Kavaeva and Dafina from Prosinek hold the first places in it. In the initial and most important phase of the development of the Macedonian literature by collection and affirmation of Macedonian folk literature as unigue cornerstone of the artistic and authorial literature and its future, the poetesses hold special place and significance. They had actively participated in all activities and manifestations of spreading the Macedonian language. They sang only in their mother tongue. This information has a special meaning for their identification and insertion into the Macedonian literature.
