Ensuring the safety of road traffic when holding mass events

Summary/Abstract: The article acquaints us with the key role of the specialized bodies of the Traffic Police in ensuring traffic safety during mass events. In this regard, one of the priority tasks of traffic police is to support and regulate traffic. At the beginning of the article are presented the main tasks performed by the Traffic Police. A special place is given to the organization of the police authorities and the individual stages through which the activity passes, to ensure road safety during mass events. Tactical actions in case of forced stopping of vehicles are also presented. The main goal of the activity is to protect the life and health of road users.
