Summary/Abstract: Redefining the relation between the state and society is within the context of the question “fragmentation or integration of Europe?” Processes of integration create a new macro-level over the old countries. Therefore, the integration is slowing down and societal safety becomes the key reason for theoretical science to focus on societies, as they refer to identity, perseverance of traditional models of language, culture; religious and national identities and customs. Societal safety protects sovereignty and identity. When national identities were formed, nation was in the focus of the most popular and widespread myths, its existence being confirmed with the exact collective name, the myth from distant ancestors as well as historic events in the context of the topic and actual situation in which Macedonia is nowadays, and therefore we give tribute to people who had central role in Macedonian narratives that reflect and indicate Macedonian identity.
